The two most common brake pad types are resin and metal. Resin pads add more modulation and noise control over metal brake pads and metal pads offer more power and fade resistance. The Shimano N03A Disc Brake Pads are designed for the new 4 piston BR M9120 XTR brakes from Shimano. The N03A is the resin pad version for the new XTR brakes. The resin compound has been updated
